Augustín Mušuta was born in 2000 in Poprad. He started studying guitar in 2007 at the Primary music school in Spišská Nová Ves with Zuzana Dudžáková, Michaela Regecová and Zuzana Pavlíková. From 2016 to 2020 he continued his studies at the Conservatory in Košice in the class of MgA. Jozef Haluza. He is currently a first year master's student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava with Karol Samuelčík.
During his studies he participated in several guitar competitions from which he won many awards. He has also enriched his musical education by actively participating in masterclasses with various performers such as József Eötvös, Alberto Mesirca, Susana Prieto, Ryszard Bałauszko, Fabrizio Ferraro, Daniel Paredes, Krysztof Pelech and others.
