Jakub Moroziński began his musical education in 2005. In 2017 he started guitar studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice under the guidance of Professor Wanda Palacz. In 2022 he completed master’s degree with honours.
He developed his skills at masterclasses conducted by great guitarists as: Carlo Marchione, Alvaro Pierri, Rolf Lislevand, Goran Krivokapić, Adriano del Sal, Thibaut Garcia, Michał Nagy and Piotr Zaleski.
He is the laureate of national and international guitar competitions like the Guitar Festival and Competition in Kielce (2015), the Guitar Festival and Competition "Cithara Ignea" in Żory (2016), the Guitar Festival and Competition „Baltic Guitar Days” in Szczecin (2021) and the Joaquin Rodrigo Guitar Festival and Competition in Olsztyn (2021). He was also a finalist of the International Guitar Festival "Uppsala Kitarr Festival" in Sweden (2019).
As a chamber musician he took part in concerts with Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Katowice and Silesian Chamber Orchestra. In 2023 he recorded for CD composition of Joanna Wnuk – Nazarowa „Mediterranean Sea, goodbye” for two guitars and orchestra with Professor Marek Nosal and Silesian Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Yaroslav Shemet.
Currently he is a teacher at the State Music School in Gliwice.
