Adam Svitač started playing guitar at the age of 14. He graduated from the conservatory in Nitra and Bratislava. In June 2020 he graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava under the guidance of doc. Martin Krajč, ArtD. In 2018/2019 he studied with the leading Spanish guitarist prof. Marc Socías in San Sebastian, Spain. From 2023 he started his doctoral studies in the class of doc. Martin Krajč, ArtD. D. at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. At the same time, he works as a teacher of Alexander Technique at the Academy of Performing Arts, which he graduated from the Alexander Technique Centre Vienna.
Adam is a participant and finalist of various international competitions International Guitar Festival Pleven (Bulgaria), International Guitar Competetion Enrico Mercetalli Gorizia (Italy), GuitarFestival Rust (Austria), Festival Ivan Balla Dolný Kubín (Slovakia). During his studies he actively participated in many master classes at home and abroad under the guidance of Leo Brouwer (Cuba), Sergio Assad (Brazil), Pavel Steidl (Czech Republic), Costas Cotsiolis (Greece) Fabio Zanon (Brazil), Marco Tamayo (Cuba), Marco Socías (Spain), Jozef Eotvos (Hungary) and others. He also regularly participates in foreign internships in San Sebastian, Spain, in the class of prof. Marc Socías and at the German Hochschule fur Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar with prof. Ricardo Gallén.
